Women are expected to wear so many different hats. Now more than ever, never doubt that you are valuable, powerful and deserving of equal chance to seize that opportunity to achieve own dreams, make own decisions and start living the life.

Doug Huete

Raised by 3 very strong women, I have seen their determination and strength balanced perfectly with their big hearts and love for their families. We wouldn’t exist without them. Pretty simple. So celebrate women for the 6 million years humans have existed. And celebrate those in your families.

Daniela

Women should be empowered, not only through access to education, profession, and lifestyle opportunities with no limitations or restrictions but also by feeling entitled to make their own decisions.

Paul Canton

I recently read a quote after the passing of Ruth Bader-Ginsburg that said, “Women belong in all places where decisions are being made…It shouldn’t be the exception.” That quote really resonated with me. Throughout my life I have been lucky to be surrounded by, and learn, from a variety of strong women. Having had the privilege to work for and along side women from around the world and being part of many women-led teams, to raising two daughters of my own with my wife, I will always do whatever I can to ensure that everyone is included in decision making, conversation, and change.

It is important to recognize the various experiences of women around the world. This past year in particular, women have been at the front lines, caring for the sick and leading us to a healthier world in medicine, education and in the workplace. I am proud to be a woman and look forward to a time when women are represented at all stages of leadership across the globe.

Shelby Stubbs

I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by so many strong women and male allies in my life who have encouraged me over the years personally as well as professionally. For me, women empowerment means supporting women of all backgrounds to be the best they can be, helping us move towards a better future that is more inclusive and celebrates the diversity and voice of individuals around the world.

Leila Saphariny

We look forward to a future where there will be no female leaders, just leaders.

Emily Zhu

I have been always inspired by the speech Queen Elizabeth I delivered to the Troops at Tilbury which goes something like, “I know I have the body of a weak, feeble woman; but I have the heart and stomach of a king… To which rather than any dishonor shall grow by me, I myself will be your general, judge and rewarder of every one of your virtues in the field.’’ This is my favorite quote. Each time I read it, especially when I’m going through a rough patch, I feel a bit of her strength adding to my own.

Regiane de Araujo

For me, women empowerment means to be recognized for everything we do, as we do the same or more than a man, and be compensated equally, based on qualifications and not gender. I really hope this day is coming soon.

Amanda Theocles

I think what women empowerment means to me is always striving to be the best for yourself and for others around you, both men and woman. To me, it means strength from the inside out where it eventually mirrors to others who are looking for that level of confidence and strength for themselves.

Sherry Wu

For me it means to be myself. In my daily life, as a woman, I play many roles as a wife, a mum, a daughter as well as an office lady. I spend nearly 80% time on my family and work, and I would like to spend more time on myself to stay healthy, happy and pretty from now on.

Angie Zhang

In my view, women empowerment means being independent and being respected. The ability to enjoy equal rights in both the workplace as well as within our families, and to fight for the life we want to live and we wish our children to live, are important for empowering women.
